BREAKING NEWS... ANOTHER BOMB BLAST IN JOS

One of the Reports reaching one of shalloma's blog reporters indicate that there had been multiple bomb explosions in Jos Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, an eye witness told one of shalloma's blog reporters that the explosion occurred on the very busy Ahmadu Bello way.

The explosions occurred 30 minutes apart; the first about 4pm and the second about 4:30pm,” a Jos resident who spoke on condition of anonymity told one of shalloma's blog reporters. Casualty figure cannot be confirmed now but witnesses told one of shalloma's blog reporters that it is  likely to be on the high side, especially as the explosion occurred a densely populated area. Men of the fire service, who responded to distress calls to fight inferno resulting from the explosion, positioned  far away from the market over fears that more bombs could have been planted in the market. The injured are being evacuated to the Jos University Teaching Hospital and the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Jos. Officials of NEMA, Police, Operation Rainbow and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps are reported to be battling frantically to rescue the victims.
