2015 : Mbaise people back Okorocha

The second term bid of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State received a boost yesterday as the people of   Ezinihitte Local Council Area have pledged their support for him in the forthcoming governorship election next year.

The stakeholders, women, men and youths  from  the council area made the promise  during the official declaration of the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ezinihitte State House of Assembly, Dr. Ifeanyi Nwachukwu at Okpofe Central School.
Speaking during the ceremony, the APC state Chairman, Dr. Hilary Eke, who hails from the area assured the state governor that the people of Ezinihitte would vote massively for APC candidates to ensure the continuity of his good work in the state.
Dr. Ekeh pointed out that the people of Ezinihitte had benefitted immensely from  the administration of Governor Rochas Okorocha, especially in the area of infrastructure development.
The APC state chairman made it clear that Imo people would never forget in a hurry the good work of Governor Okorocha.
Speaking also, the APC Local Government Chairman of Ezinihitte, Chief Stanley Onwukwe vowed that members of the PDP would not rig them out in 2015 general elections.
In his speech, Dr. Ifeanyi Nwachukwu assured the state governor of the total support of the people of Ezinihitte and informed him that 17,000 registered APC voters were already on ground.
Adding, that the party in Ezinhitte Mbaise  has adopted some strategic measures to ensure that there would be no election malpractices in the area.
Meanwhile,the State governor Owelle Okorocha has assured them of the completion  of Amamura-Itu-Eziudo-Obizi-Ihitte Ezegbogu road before the end of the first quarter of 2015.
He further stressed the need for the people of Ezinihitte to vote for him to ensure the sustainability of free education and other basic social amenities and made them to understand that the rescue mission administration has vision and programmes that will liberate the people of the state.
Okorocha described Dr Nwachukwu ,Hon. Adaku Ihuoma and Uche Onyegaocha who are the party’s Candidates for Ezinihitte state constituency, House of Representatives and Senate respectively as people with impeccable character and has the pedigree to deliver
